IN A NUTSHELL: Swifts secured a third win on the bounce with a strong performance at home to in-form Brentwood. After another week of new signings and departures under new manager Julian Dicks, the hosts showed good quality in front of a crowd of 238 for a victory which moved them into the play-off places.

KEY ACTION: Brentwood hit the post with a thunderous early shot from outside the box. Odei Martin fired over for the hosts before former Brentwood striker Matt Price tucked away the Swifts opener after some intricate approach play.  And they made it 2-0 when skipper Kreshnic Krasniqi nodded home a corner which had been delivered brilliantly by George Craddock. Brentwood pulled a goal back just before the hour mark after a deflected Ryan Mallett  shot found the net. But Swifts defended their lead well and before midfielder Harrison Chatting (pictured) – who has just signed a two-year deal with the club – slotted home into the bottom corner to secure the victory.

SWIFTS STAR MAN: Alieu Njie. The centre-half was solid all game.

SWIFTS DEBUTS: Toib Adeyemi and Rueben Mudd.
