IN A NUTSHELL: A staggering derby day crowd saw Swifts striker Matt Price (pictured above by Alan Edmonds) level with a last-minute spot kick to earn a valuable point on Boxing Day. Former Swifts hero Juan Luque was also in the crowd.

KEY ACTION:  Swifts started well and Toib Adeyemi’s header was saved brilliantly by Ben McNamara. But it was the Jammers who took the lead when ex-Swifts defender Jack Cawley curled his free kick brilliantly into the top corner. The hosts nearly hit back straight away when Charlie Kendall’s shot was saved at close range. And Adeyemi was once again denied after the hour mark with a shot saved by Mcnamara. The late equaliser came when Heybridge defender Luke Wilson was brought down in the box and Price converted coolly. And there was still time for Swifts to go close to a winner when Price headed just wide.

SWIFTS STAR MAN: Matt Price. Mr Reliable again came up with the good with a cool late penalty for a share of the spoils.

INJURY CONCERNS: None.
