IN A NUTSHELL: At kick-off it was third-placed Coggeshall versus fifth-placed Swifts but by the final whistle the visitors had picked up a huge win to move up to second. Jack Adlington put in another impressive display for Julian Dicks’ promotion hopefuls. The hosts featured former Swifts Danny Sambridge and Sam Bantick. The result sets up a mouth-watering clash for Heybridge with league leaders Bowers next weekend.

KEY ACTION: Swifts started strongly and striker Matt Price went close when his shot was saved brilliantly by Sambridge. And soon after Bantik went close to giving Coggeshall the lead. Swifts saw a penalty claim turned down in the second-half before Adlington forced a great save from Sambridge. Town then had the ball in the back of the net but the effort was ruled out for offside. And the winner came when Kreshnic Krasniqi found space on the right and whipped in an excellent cross for Ronto (pictured by Alan Edmonds) to finish superbly. Swifts had several chances to add more but were happy to take three points.

SWIFTS STAR MAN: Jack Adlington. The former Basildon man was excellent again and an influential figure in the middle of the park.

SWIFTS DEBUTS: None.

INJURY CONCERNS: Charlie Kendall.

ENTERTAINMENT VALUE: 7/10
