IN A NUTSHELL: Swifts laid to rest their Dereham hoodoo and ended a run of nine games without victory against them (including eight defeats) with a well-organised and clinical second half performance at a blustery Aldiss Park.

KEY ACTION: The hosts got off to the best possible start under a new manager and went ahead when Chris Haigh could only parry away a fierce drive, leaving Joe Gatting an easy finish. Swifts then dominated and nearly equalised when a 1-2 between Price and Chris Millar ended with the latter’s shot saved from close range. Krasniqi (pictured) went close on 25 minutes when his close-range effort was blocked by keeper Elliot Pride. A superb strike by Millar was spilled by Pride and an amazing block from Elliot Ronto’s follow up stopped the ball crossing the line. Price then put a header just over on the stroke of half time and it was looking like one of those days again. But the pressure told after the break and Krasniqi finished a fine passing movement for the leveller. Price then headed in an excellent second from a cross from sub George Craddock before centre back Luke Wilson capped another fine performance by heading a looping delivery over the keeper from Jay Siva’s precision free-kick.
