IN A NUTSHELL: Swifts returned to winning ways against an in-form Sudbury side. Heybridge boss Julian Dicks made four changes to his starting XI following last Saturday’s defeat and, in front of a crowd of 315, his side picked up a valuable three points to finish the day in third in the table.

KEY ACTION: Swifts defender Luke Wilson bagged the opener with his second goal in three matches when he fired through a sea of legs in the box following a dangerous cross in from the right. Striker Matt Price went close to making it 2-0 with a shot from distance soon after. The hosts started the second half strongly when Kreshnic Krasniqi hit the post with a deflected shot and soon after Sudbury keeper Paul Walker made a good save to deny Dan Walker. The points were made safe with three minutes to go when Krasniqi took a pass from Elliott Ronto (pictured by Alan Edmonds) before cutting inside and hitting a great strike inside the post from outside the box. Price also had a chance to add a late third.

SWIFTS STAR MAN: Luke Wilson. A well-taken opener and another towering display from the Swifts centre-half.

INJURY CONCERNS: None.
