SWIFTS will be look to return to winning ways when they host a Grays side under the new management of Jim Cooper on Saturday (March 23).

A stalemate with Wakering followed by a 4-1 defeat at Barking last weekend has provided a rare fallow period for promotion-chasing Heybridge under boss Julian Dicks.

And they will bid to get back on track this weekend against Grays, who beat Sudbury 3-2 at home on Saturday.

After two draws, it was former Met Police boss Cooper’s first win in charge of the Blues, who are ninth in the Bostik North table.

Swifts won 1-0 in the reverse fixture in early December with a goal from Matt Price (pictured above by Alan Edmonds).

Heybridge’s licenced bar and hot food kiosk will be open from midday.

Ticket prices are £10 for adults, £5 concessions and under-16s admitted for free.

Kick off at the Aspen Waite Arena is at 3pm.
