IN A NUTSHELL: Matt Price produced a brilliant late cameo off the bench with two goals to earn Swifts a win which moved them up to third in the table. Defeats for play-off rivals Aveley and Maldon, and a draw for Coggeshall, made it a terrific day Julian Dicks’ side.

KEY ACTION: Elliot Ronto scored a fantastic early volley to put the hosts in front but Swifts missed a chance to go further ahead when captain on the day Luke Wilson saw his penalty saved brilliantly by Harry Aldridge. Wilson also finished with a great header but it was controversially flagged offside. And Heybridge then went close again when Dan Walker went in on goal but shot just wide. And it looked like Swifts might pay for those missed opportunities when Wilson conceded a penalty which was converted by Reece Hewitt. Matt Price replaced Walker with 12 minutes to go and within two minutes of coming on put the hosts in front again. And Swifts top scorer added his second and his side’s third with a last-minute penalty to seal the win.

SWIFTS STAR MAN: Manny Osei-Owusu. The winger made some dangerous runs and provided superb crosses all game.
