We have met Met Police just twice – this was during the 1990/91 Vauxhall Opel League division One season. We made our only previous visit to Imber Court on Tues 18 Sept 1990 when we won 2-0 with goals from Steve Legge (2m) and Julian Lamb (24m). The return fixture saw us host Met Police on Tues 9 April 1991 when we drew 1-1 – we led through a 10th minute goal by Micky Hall but the visitors levelled in the 80th minute.

ARLESEY TOWN play in the Evo-Stik League South East and currently lie in 20th place having lost three and drawn one of their opening four games.
They beat Desborough Town (of the United Counties League) in the FA Cup preliminary round 3-1 with goals from Rafe Goodman (2) and Kim Forsythe. Goodman was sent off with the score at 3-1.

IT WAS thought our first entry into the FA Cup was in the 1981/82 season when two goals from Kenny Gray set up a 2-1 win over Gorleston. We drew at home 2-2 with Wisbech Town in the next round but lost the replay 2-1.
