AFTER the club enjoyed one of its most successful seasons in Swifts’ 130 year history in the 2017/18 campaign, we are delighted to offer a new level of corporate sponsorship for the 2018/19 season.
We are already backed brilliantly by sponsors including Coco Lighting, First Call Contract Services, 354 and Aspen Waite – and now want to recruit more partners with packages suited to their individual needs.
Swifts chairman Gary White, who has an extensive list of contacts after 28 years in the business arena, is keen to ensure companies who sign up get a good return on their investment and enjoy becoming part of the Swifts family.
He said: “We are keen to attract local companies who want to enjoy the entertaining brand of football on display here at Swifts, which attracted the attention of the national media last season.
“And we are keen to attract those who may be a little disillusioned with the professional game, which is perhaps becoming more suitable for TV rather than as a live spectacle.”
West Ham fan Gary admits it is no surprise just how many people now watch live non-league action at a fraction of the cost of a Premier League game.
He explained: “Non-league is great for children and families to spend a couple of hours together, without worrying over car parking or traffic jams, and excessive ticket prices. In many cases they get to the meet the players too.”
Swifts increased their crowds by 70 percent on average last season and – with 444 attending the final home Bostik North game of the season against Soham Town – Gary White believes the club has the potential to make that an average gate in the future.
He added: “It is so refreshing to see young people showing passionate support at both home and away games, and our vociferous away following in particular gave the players such a boost during last season’s epic cup runs and congested end of season fixture schedule.”
Last season Swifts lost in the play-off semi finals to the eventual winners Haringey Borough, and reached the first round proper of the FA Cup and the fourth round of the FA Trophy. It was a staggering achievement for a Step 4 side and Swifts gained national recognition as a result.
Heybrodge manager Jody Brown has kept the majority of his talented squad together and added more quality this summer, and the the team are confident of mounting another serious crack at honours in the coming season.
