Potential home tie at last
Swifts face a potential home tie against From Town if they can overcome a strong Met Police side at the Aspen Waite Arena tomorrow night. After 3 away ties this season Swifts were due for a potential home draw but Jody Brown and his team will sense that this tie is far from over against Bostik Premier Division opponents who took Swifts right to the wire at Imber Court on Saturday, with Jack Cawley’s 90th minute equaliser meaning they lived to fight another day.

Floodlight problems cause postponement of tonight's trip to Canvey Island

Previous Meetings and a former Swifts in their ranks.
We have met Met Police just twice – this was during the 1990/91 Vauxhall Opel League division One season. We made our only previous visit to Imber Court on Tues 18 Sept 1990 when we won 2-0 with goals from Steve Legge (2m) and Julian Lamb (24m). The return fixture saw us host Met Police on Tues 9 April 1991 when we drew 1-1 – we led through a 10th minute goal by Micky Hall but the visitors levelled in the 80th minute.
